Miniature Travel: A Neo-Classical Elegance

Designing a Space that Transports You to Europe and America

The balance between classic and modern design riches the atmosphere of passageway linking to the next space of living room. The whole façade is painted with clean and neat color of white as the main color tone. Marbles used in the living room and restaurant present the history from modern to classic era. The deliberate lower ratio of "exquisite display cabinets" made by bronze-plated titanium and cold-toned transparent glasses particularly shows the extension scale of the marble backwall.

The Miniature Travel design, created by Ta Wen Huang, is a stunning example of neo-classical elegance. This interior design project seamlessly blends classic elements with modern minimalist touches, creating a space that transports you to Europe and America. The design features a balance between classic and modern design, with a clean and neat white color palette throughout. Marbles are used in the living room and restaurant areas, showcasing the history from the modern to the classic era.

One of the standout features of the design is the deliberate lower ratio of "exquisite display cabinets" made from bronze-plated titanium and cold-toned transparent glasses. These cabinets showcase the extension scale of the marble backwall, adding a touch of luxury and sophistication to the space.

The design also incorporates unique elements such as interlaced white stone patterns and copper strips in the entryway, along with classic England dark blue walls and dark green lines of elegant cabinets. This combination of colors creates a beautiful gradation and adds depth to the space.

Miniature Travel is not just about the composition of materials and style; it is a philosophy of living space that fulfills the imagination towards life for those who travel in Europe and America. The design aims to create a spacious and cozy shared place that features life with authentic merriment, blending neo-classical and modern styles. The focus is on creating a living space that reflects the aesthetic taste of the clients and allows them to realize their anticipation towards living space and life.

The project, which started in May 2020 in Taiwan Keelung, was completed in January 2021. Throughout the design process, the team faced several challenges, including connecting the decorative line version in the overall space and designing storage cabinets with titanium-plated metal to prevent oxidation and skin oil covering. Additionally, the wardrobe in the dressing room features a 45° lighting design for softer and more even lighting, as well as an automatic return hardware on the sliding door for ease of use.

Miniature Travel has received recognition for its outstanding design. It was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2022. This prestigious award is bestowed upon designs that exhibit strong technical and creative skills, contributing to quality of life improvements. Miniature Travel stands out for its incorporation of best practices in art, science, design, and technology, making it a truly remarkable and innovative design.

Experience the elegance and sophistication of Miniature Travel, a design that seamlessly blends classic and modern elements to create a space that transports you to Europe and America.
